So, this definitely isn't going to be our final logo/business card/price tag, but I just love it, so I'm going to post it, anyway.
Why do I love it so much? Because I glued actual string to a cardboard box, took a photo of it, worked a little photoshop magic, and voila! Unfortunately, it looks way better digital than printed, so it's not as versatile as it needs to be for the long run. It works for us now, though!
I honestly have a difficult time with self promotion, even on my own website! I am truly pleased with how these digital prints have turned out, though, I can't help but show them off. :) They're only $10 each on Etsy.
Ah, the life of an artist. Not quite as glamorous as I dreamt... but not too shabby, either! In my absence, I have created a series of prints available on Etsy of some of my favorite hymns. I also had one of each printed for our craft shows (which my sisters and I have participated in twice, so far). Here's a picture from our first event:
Though we had tons of fun selling our stuff, I think we had way more fun making it all! We were super pleased with our results, considering we had no clue what to expect, or to prepare for. It was pretty cool - we were even asked by a couple of people...
My sisters and I are setting up a table at a local craft show in a few weeks, so we decided it was time to officially set up our Etsy store, too! We will be adding our miscellaneous arts and crafts to our store over the coming weeks, so check back frequently to see what we've been working on.
